Tour Itinerary

• Day 1

  Chandigarh to Rishikesh

  Start your journey from Chandigarh and drive to Rishikesh, a spiritual town nestled on the banks of the Ganges River. Explore the famous ashrams, visit the iconic suspension bridges, and attend the evening Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

• Day 2

  Rishikesh to Govindghat

  After breakfast, proceed towards Govindghat, the base camp for the Hemkunt Sahib trek. Enjoy the scenic drive through picturesque landscapes and stop at Joshimath, a sacred town associated with Adi Shankaracharya. Overnight stay in Govindghat.

• Day 3

  Govindghat to Ghangaria

  Start early in the morning and begin the trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria, a small village nestled amidst stunning mountain scenery. The trek is approximately 13 kilometers and takes around 6-7 hours. Upon reaching Ghangaria, rest and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

• Day 4

  Ghangaria to Hemkunt Sahib and back to Govindghat

  Begin the steep ascent to Hemkunt Sahib, a revered Sikh pilgrimage site located at an altitude of 4,632 meters. Visit the gurdwara (Sikh temple) and take a dip in the holy Hemkunt Sahib Lake. After spending some time in spiritual contemplation, descend back to Ghangaria. From Ghangaria, trek back to Govindghat. Overnight stay in Govindghat.

• Day 5

  Govindghat to Rishikesh

  Drive back from Govindghat to Rishikesh. Relax and unwind in Rishikesh, visit local markets, or indulge in optional activities like river rafting. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

• Day 6

  Rishikesh to Chandigarh

  After breakfast, bid farewell to Rishikesh and start your journey back to Chandigarh. Reach Chandigarh by evening, concluding your memorable Hemkund Sahib tour.
